Why?

Herrnhut is celebrating its 300-year birthday in 2022. That is reason enough for a party - a big party together with the Moravian youth from all over Europe and everyone who is interested. In the last three years, our youth workers, together with many helping hands, have been planning a great international festival. You are invited!

What?

Three full days filled with music, talks on various subjects and workshops. Food and camping spots are included in the price - the company and the good memories you get for free. Follow our social media to find out which artists and speakers will be coming.

Where & When?

The Moravian Moves festival is scheduled from August 17th through August 21st in 2022. In more detail: one day for arrival, one day for departure and three full days of programme.

The venue is Herrnhut in east Saxony in Germany, a small town with around 1200 inhabitants. The festival will take place in the centre of the town and camping places, the conference house and a secret area are only a short walk away from the main stage. These locations either belong to the Moravian Congregation Herrnhut, the Zinzendorf School, or to the town of Herrnhut.

Who?

You can participate if you are older than 18 years. If you are 16 or 17 you can also join, but only with a supervisor. See the FAQ for more info.

We especially invite people from the 11 countries in Europe, where Moravian churches are present: Albania, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Great Britain, Latvia, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Sweden, and Switzerland.
